Sometimes I get asked about what goes on during my shoots. Let me try to show you by reading this blog entry! 🙂
This shoot was a fun collaboration with my friend and great photographer Jericho Cruz (@cruz.jerichojoseph)
This was a studio shoot, which is a lot different from shoots I do on location. In a plain studio you don’t have anything to lean on, play with, hold, etc. There’s just you and a backdrop. So it’s actually pretty tiring too! But of course, if you love what you do, it’s always worth it. 🙂
For this shoot we had three layouts each with different moods 🙂
Here’s the first layout. Here I was wearing a long suit type vest and high waist pants. 🙂 I internalized a very serious i-am-wearing-sleek-clothes mood. Hahahhaa

The next layout had a softer and sweeter feel to it. I was wearing a maroon chiffon romper 🙂

The last layout was very casual and had a nice playful mood. ❤️ I was wearing a sweater, denim shorts, and sneakers. 🙂

In every shoot, every location, every layout, there’s always something new to learn. Working with different photographers is truly a pleasure. Being able to express different emotions through your body then onto photographs is an amazing experience. 🙂
Thank you for taking a peak into one of my shoots! 🙂
Watch out for these photos on my Instagram @marlinacarlos 🙂 Shoutout to my boyfriend who took these photos! 😍❤️
